Woman lured with job promise, kidnapped

Hayathnagar: A 21-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped by a man from Bonguluru under Hayathnagar police station limits on Wednesday. According to the police, a complaint has been lodged by one Yadaiah (45) on Tuesday late night, in which he stated that he was running a hotel at Bonguluru, where an unknown person came in a car and had tea.

Later, he introduced himself to him. After speaking with him, he convinced Yadaiah that he could fetch a job for his daughter who was studying B Pharmacy final year.

Later, the accused took Yadaiah and his daughter in his car on the pretext of providing a job. After roaming entire day in the car, the accused sent Yadaiah to an internet shop to bring some certificate copies and fled away from the spot along with his daughter.

After searching for some time, Yadaiah realised that he was cheated and that his daughter was kidnapped. He immediately rushed to the Hayathnagar Police station and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, police are verifying CCTV footage to nab the culprit. Police formed six teams to find the complainant's daughter.
