Khammam: Padma Shri awardee Vanajeevi Ramaiah appeals to hike his honorarium

Khammam: Padma Shri awardee Vananjeevi Ramaiah appealed to hike his honorarium during Grievance Day programme here on Monday.

He submitted his grievance to Zilla Parishad CEO Priyanka, stating that the government is giving an honorarium of Rs 30,000 every month, but half of the amount was spent for purchasing plants and conducting planting programmes. Stating that it was not enough for running his life, he appealed to the government to hike his honorarium.
