Vijayawada: Chalapathi Institute inks pact with Indo-European Technology Centre

Vijayawada: Chalapathi Institute of Technology (CIT) at Guntur has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Noida-based Indo-European Technology Centre (IETC) to establish 'Embedded Systems and Automation Technology Incubation Centre' at the CIT.

The MoU mainly aims at cooperation in academics and research between IETC and CIT. As a part of industry-institute interaction, the IETC must provide product-based hands-on training, technical skill development programmes and support in research and innovations for the students.

The MoU was signed by CIT's secretary and correspondent Y Sujith Kumar and IETC representative K Tirupathi Rao. On this occasion, Y Sujith Kumar suggested that job opportunities are aplenty in embedded systems and automation and to grab those opportunities the students are required to develop the pertinent skills.

Principal of CIT Dr V Ranga Rao, Vice-Principal K Naga Srinivasa Rao, Dean (R&D) Dr P Balamuralikrishna and IQAC coordinator L Uday Kiran also participated.
