Father-son duo held for murder
Hyderabad: The police on Tuesday nabbed two accused in a murder case that happened in the wee hours of Sunday. The accused were identified as father and son duo G Parambil David (49) and G Parambil Ouseph (21), belonging to Kerala State and now residents of Rehmath Nagar under Jubilee hills police station limits.
According to the police, a complaint had been lodged by B Rajalingam (65) in which he stated that he has two daughters and one son, namely elder daughter Dhanalakshmi, younger daughter Anuradha and Son Pruthviraj. His elder daughter got married to one a person from Nizamabad, but his daughter was staying at her maternal home for some days now and accused David, who also stays in the same area, harassed her. David was once warned by the area elders to not to do so in future, but David did not stop his harassment.
Police said on Sunday at around 10 pm while Rajalingam was away, David came to his house and abused his family. Later, he along with his wife Rajamani and son Pruthviraj went to David's house at around 11 pm and questioned them about their behaviour, which led to a quarrel between his family and David, his wife Annie and son Ouseph.
In rage, David went inside the house and bought a knife and stabbed Pruthviraj on chest while Ouseph caught him. Due to blood loss, Pruthviraj lost conscious. Immediately, he was taken to a nearby hospital where they advised that the patient be taken to a different hospital as the injury was critical. When taken to another hospital they advised that the patient be taken to NIMS, where the doctors declared Pruthviraj brought dead, the police added.
Based on the complaint, police started the investigation and nabbed the accused near Krishna Kanth Park on Monday night. Following a thorough interrogation, the accused voluntarily confessed to the crime and were produced before Magistrate for judicial remand.
