Father-son duo held in auto, bike lifting cases
Nellore: They are not just father and son but also partners in many offences. They share theft money and enjoy life whom the CCS police arrested here on Saturday, recovering Rs 22 lakh worth vehicles from them. They were involved in bike and auto lifting cases in the entire district. Police recovered 10 autos, 8 motorcycles and 9.5 sovereign gold from them.
The accused were identified as D Satish, and D Sandeep (19). District Superintendent of Police Aishwarya Rastogi informed the media on Saturday that Dodla Santosh and Dodla Sandeep are father and son and are from Mudivarthipalem of Indukurpeta mandal.
They committed many offences in the district. The SP said that father and son have stolen 9.5 sovereign gold in Nidumusali village from a woman and also an autorickshaw at Narasapuram village in Indukurpeta Police Station limits.
They also lifted two autos at Golagamudi, another two autos from Buchireddypalem, one auto at Inamadugu and another auto at Veguru Kandriga of Kovur P S limits, two autos and 8 motorcycles from Tirachunur, Renigunta, Vadamalapeta and also Srikalahasti in Chittoor district,' said the SP. CCS Police held them at 6th mile area in the district on Saturday. CCS Circle Inspector Sk Bobyjan Syda, Nellore Rural Circle Inspector G L Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
