Railway Hospital at Rail Wheel Factor ready to fight coronavirus

As part of Global Initiative, Railway Hospital at Rail Wheel Factory has taken all efforts to earmark facilities for isolation and quarantine and to create awareness among employees, dependents and general public in connection with precautions to be taken from getting infected with novel coronavirus.

Posters in Kannada, Hindi and English are displayed in the workshop area, administrative building, hospital, employees' institute, officers' club, West Colony and East Colony.

Pamphlets on dos and don'ts are being distributed to employees and their family members and also to patients and their relatives visiting Hospital.

Awareness Programmes are conducted in small group in every meetings and places of gathering like in OPD, Canteen etc.

4 Bed Isolation ward with quarantine facility is kept ready to admit any suspected case among the employees and the general public.

Further, Railway Hospital /RWF is in preparedness to arrange quarantine facilities at various places such as Technical Training Centre Hostel, Sub-Ordinate Rest House/West Colony based on the requirement.

The importance of frequent hand washing and staying away from close contact with anyone experiencing cough and fever is being emphasised.
