Sadhvi Pragya takes a lead over Congress in Bhopal
NEW DELHI: Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur of the BJP and Digvijaya Singh of the Congress are in the contest in Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency.
According to early reports, Sadhvi Pragya is leading over Congress leader Digvijaya Singh.
As Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is an accused in Malegaon blast case, Digvijaya Singh is the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. Under unusual situations these leaders were named as nominees by their respective parties.
Reports have said that, Digvijaya Singh was not willing to contest from Bhopal, a Lok Sabha seat that the Congress has not won in 30 years.
