CM holding Janmabhoomi like a party affair: YSRCP

Kakinada: YSR Congress Party has alleged that the ongoing Janmabhoomi programme was being conducted like a TDP programme rather than a government programme.

Addressing a press conference, Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy and former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, alleged that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu made 600 promises before coming to the power and after assuming charge he ignored all the election promises. They criticised that Polavaram project would not be completed within the stipulated time of 2019. They censured the CM’s comment ‘Tolu Teesta’ during Janmabhoomi programme at Visakhapatnam. They condemned the actions of the CM while dealing with opposition leaders.

The YSRCP leaders recalled that once Chandrababu Naidu degraded the Scheduled Caste community by commenting “nobody wants to be born as a Dalit”. They demanded an apology from the CM to the fishermen community. The YSRCP leaders accused the CM of building TDP office at Kakinada on a government site leased to the NTR Trust for 99 years. 

YSRCP leaders Koppana Mohana Rao, former MLAs Dwarampudi Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Kurasala Kanna Babu, Pendem Dorababu, Tuni MLA Dadisetti Raja and others participated in the press meet.
