Govt to provide `10,000 income to every family

Eluru: MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao said that the State Government has taken up a programme to provide Rs 10,000 income per month to every family in the state. Addressing the Janmabhoomi -Maa Vooru programme held at Chataparru village in Eluru mandal on Wednesday, he said, “The government is striving hard to eradicate poverty in society by uplifting the poor.”

He said that the Government had constructed 3,000 km of CC roads in West Godavari district under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS). “The Government developed Chataparru village at a cost of Rs 50 crore.”

The MP said that with the cooperation of Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar the village was developed. As many as 132 DWCRA groups sanctioned Rs 1.56 crore bank loans and 637 farmers get loan waiver of Rs 3.57 crore under the Farmer loan waiver scheme. 

Village Sarpanch D Bhagyasri, Mandal President Moru Hymavathi, ZPTC member Matta Rajeswari, former ZPTC Member Gutta KasiBabu, Tahsildar Chandra Sekhar took part in the event.
