Vignan University celebrates Sankranti

Guntur: Sankranti Sambaralu were conducted in advance at Vignan University at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Thursday. Vignan Educational Institutions’ Chairman, Dr Lavu Rattaiah lit the bonfire in the university campus and explained the significance of the festival. He stressed upon the need to protect our ancient culture and offered rice to Haridasu and bananas to the cow. 

The students showed their talent in rangoli. Students were dressed in ethnic attire to mark the festival. Later, boys and girls danced to the film songs. The university officials, lecturers, students enjoyed Sankranti Sambaralu.
