‘Solve drinking water issues,’ directs civic chief

Guntur: Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner Challa Anuradha directed the officials to solve petitions received in the Grievance Cell of Mee Kosam on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, she directed the officials to solve petitions at the Grievance Cell on a priority basis and forward petitions to the concerned departments for taking further action.

She instructed the officials to solve petitions relating to drinking water and sanitation immediately. “The GMC is conducting grievance Monday for people to solve their grievance.” She said that on Monday, they received 19 petitions, a majority of which were related to town planning and engineering departments. Additional Commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy, Superintendent Engineer D Mariyanna were seen at the meeting.
