Cops get reports on dowry, financial disputes

Ongole: “The Prakasam district police have been receiving more number of grievances related to dowry and financial disputes,” said the SP office in a statement.

The Prakasam District Superintendant of Police, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu has been conducting grievance programme on Mondays. He received 43 complaints and requests from the public following which he issued directions to the subordinates to resolve them.

The SP office said that most of the grievances were about the land disputes, financial transactions and dowry cases. The SP ordered the officials to probe the complaints and settle the disputes.
