TET aspirants demand postponement of test
Kakinada: Seeking postponement of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), the aspirants of the competitive examination staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Monday. Hundreds of students gathered at the Collectorate and raised slogans against the government carrying placards showing their demands.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that the government issued GO No. 4 and made changes in the old syllabus. They demanded that the government give some time for them to prepare in accordance with the changed syllabus. The agitators wanted the government to consider the demands of the Bhasha Pandits (Language Pandits) for TET. They also asked the government to postpone the exam for two months. Their demands also included that the government conduct the
examination on an offline platform.
