Civil Services Athletics Championship from tomorrow

Guntur: All India Civil Services Athletics Championship competitions will be held on synthetic grounds in Acharya Nagarjuna University from January 30 to February 1. The General Administration department and Sports Authority of India are making necessary arrangements for conducting the competitions. 

Addressing a press meet held on the ANU premises, SAAP OSD Prattipati Ramakrishna said that over 700 athletics already registered their names for participating in the competitions. “Over 1,000 athletes are expected to participate in the competitions.

The SAAP is taking 100 technical persons from AP Athletes Association for conducting the competitions.” He said that the competitions would be conducted in 50 events. They would be conducting the competitions for men and women. Athletics would start on January 30 and inauguration programme would be held in the evening on the same day.
