Kodela assures protection of Bible Mission properties
Guntur: Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has said the government would protect properties of Christians, and would stand intolerant to any attempt to cause loss to properties of Bible Mission.
A large number of pilgrims gathered on the occasion of valedictory of 80th Bible Mission Mahotsavams on Monday Addressing the meeting held at the Bible Mission Grounds near ANU in Guntur district, he said that prayers conducted here were useful for mental peace and added that all the religions preach about good behaviour. He said that he was participating in the Bible Mission Meeting every year and added that the state government is all for communal harmony.
Minister for Social Welfare, Nakka Anand Babu stressed on the need to follow Jesus Christ, who preached peace in society. “Those who follow Jesus Christ preaching will have a habit of forgivance. The prayers conducted here would be useful for world peace,” he reiterated.
Bible Mission Mahotsavams convener, Dr J Samuel Kiran said that devotees from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participated in the three-day event. Bible Mission chairman, Dr N Satyanamdam was also present at the gathering.
