Make sun salutation a habit, says Dy CM

Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa on Sunday appealed to the people to make Surya Namaskaram (sun salutation) a habit in routine life. He inaugurated sun salutation at Sakhinetipalli on Sunday. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that with sun salutation one could achieve sound health besides devotion and discipline. He stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu initiated the sun salutation on Sunday to make people of Andhra Pradesh healthy and disciplined. He, along with District Collector Kartikeya Mishra and MLA Gollapalli.Surya Rao participated in the programme. 

“Sun salutation was performed by the sages of ancient India and this tradition was given to all of us by the sages,” said Rajappa. Later, Home Minister Rajappa, Collector Kartikeya Mishra, Razole MLA Surya Rao performed the sun salutation. Endowments Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Babu, Assistant Commissioner M Lakshmi Narayana and others participated in the programme.
