Civic chief inspects water filtration plant

Guntur: Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner Challa Anuradha inspected the water filtration plant at Takkelapadu in Guntur on Sunday.

She enquired about the ongoing repair works to supply drinking water in the coming summer without interruption. The engineering officials explained about the progress of the work.  She directed them to speed up works to supply drinking to meet increasing demand and inspected filter beds filter performance and examined other material they purchased for water supply and instructed to maintain quality in works.  

She enquired about clear water pump house and leaks as well. She directed them to supply sufficient water in the coming  summer and see that drinking water reaches city outskirts.
