Aryapuram coop bank to open branch in Guntur
Rajamahendravaram: The Aryapuram Cooperative Urban Bank chairman, Challa Shankar Rao has said that the bank's 16th branch will be opened in Guntur on March 16, as part of expansion of bank branches. Another branch also will be opened in Gajuvaka in June, he added.
Speaking to ‘The Hans India,’ he said that the proposed branch in Guntur would be opened at fourth lane of Arundalpet area along with ATM facility for the customers. Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu, would inaugurate the new branch. Minister for Agriculture Prattipati Pulla Rao, Guntur MLA MVG Reddy and others would attend the function.
He explained that the bank deposits would cross Rs 1,000 crore mark shortly. The bank was marching ahead with the cooperation of customers. “The bank is in the core banking system and its ATM cards valid at all the ATMs of other banks as well,” he averred. The bank had plans to open the bank branches across the state, he added.
