Cong holds Atma Gourava Deeksha over SCS

Kakinada: The District Congress president, Pantam Nanaji has said Special Category Status to State is right of Andhra Pradesh people and they will achieve it. He led the Congress activists and followers in ‘Atma Gourava Deeksha’ at Rampachodavaram here on Wednesday. 

Speaking on this occasion, Nanaji said that they were performing the Deeksha to open the eyes of the ruling party leaders. The ruling party was trying to divert attention of the people of Andhra Pradesh in the name of a special package instead of SCS.

Nanaji said that Visakhapatnam Railway Zone issue was not fulfilled until now. The people of Andhra Pradesh witnessed severe discrimination in the allocation of the Union Budget.  The Congress leaders along with him submitted a memorandum to the RDO of Rampachodavaram.
