Govt to make Amaravati an education hub

Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao has said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is giving top priority to education and developing Amaravati as education hub. He inaugurated the new building complex constructed in the ZPHS, Mandapadu under Medikondur mandal of Guntur district on Thursday.

A farmer Vajrala Appi Reddy in Mandapadu village gave Rs 65 lakh towards donation for the construction of the school building. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the government was setting up digital and virtual classrooms for the convenience of the students to improve educational standards. He said that he took steps to name the school as Vajrala Appi Reddy ZPHS. He urged the people to draw inspiration from the Vajrala Appi Reddy and come forward for the development of the government schools and appreciated the latter, for the development of the school.    

MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar appreciated the Vajrala Appi Reddy initiative to develop ZPHS on par with corporate schools. Later, they felicitated Vajrala Appi Reddy  for donating Rs 65 lakh for construction of the school building. AP Mahila Commission Chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Mandapadu ZPHS head master  D Venkateswarulu  were among those present.
