PACE gets recognition from NBA
Ongole: The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences in Ongole received recognition from the prestigious National Board of Accreditation, announced the college secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar on Sunday.
He said that a nine-member expert team from the Central government visited the college and reviewed various facilities, infrastructure in the college and accorded the accreditation.
With this accreditation, he said that the academic planning, teaching methods, teaching staff qualifications, admissions, training to the students, placements, pass percentage, infrastructure, latest and advanced engineering labs in PACE were recognised as above the standards required for the engineering colleges.
He said that the college completed 10 years now and developed from an institution with just 240 students to an academic excellence center with nearly 4,500 students. He said that their college received a number of awards, 23 rank in NPTEL, permanent recognition from JNTU-K, NAAC recognition, A Grade certification by Government of AP and now the NBA accreditation in all these years.
He explained that the NBA accreditation helps the students of PACE get seat in prestigious universities abroad, job opportunities in MNCs and grants from Union government for projects of students and professors in the college. He thanked the staff, students and their parents for cooperating with the management in achieving the NBA recognition.
