MP Vijaya Sai Reddy's effigy burnt

Guntur: TDP leaders took out a rally from Gardens Centre to Sai Baba Temple Centre and burnt the effigy of YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Later, they protested at the NTR statue and demanded that Reddy tender unconditional apology for his remarks. 

They found fault with Vijay Reddy for touching the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and lowering the image of Telugu people. 

They said the latter mortgaged the values of Telugus to Prime Minister Narendra Modi  and demanded  that the Centre face no-trust motion. 

 They wanted the Centre to accord Special Category Status and keep up assurances mentioned in the state bifurcation act. The agitators criticised that  Vijaya Sai  had no right to criticise Chandrababu Naidu.Sivaram Prasad, Rajesh and other leaders were  present.
