MLA requests elite to set up drinking water kiosks

 Eluru: MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao (Bujji) said that the drinking water kiosks would be established in the city in view of the summer.
He inaugurated the drinking water kiosk at seven-Gories Centre in Eastern street on Monday.  

The MLA called upon the businessmen and industrialists to open drinking water kiosks in their areas to serve the people. He said he had taken up the social service programme through Badeti Srihari Rao Charitable Trust. The trust would set up the kiosks in the city in the summer. 

He said that in the kiosks, drinking water along with buttermilk would also be supplied. About two lakh people were visiting the city from neighboring villages and such kiosks would help them to beat the summer heat.Cooption member SMR Pedababu and others participated in the programme.
