Modi fuelling hatred between South, North India: TDP

Rajamahendravaram: Minister for Excise KS Jawahar has termed  Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a dictator and said the people are feeling insecurity in the country because of his anti-people policies. “Modi is under the misconception that he can do anything in the country as Prime Minister because of BJP’s majority in the Parliament,” he alleged.

Addressing a media conference at the residence of MP Maganti Murali Mohan here on Friday, the Minister said that Modi was encouraging enmity between the people of South and North India by adopting divide-and-rule policy. The people of Andhra Pradesh would teach a lesson to Modi in the ensuing elections, he warned.

He advised BJP leaders to mild language while criticising Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. BJP state president Haribabu was trying to get political mileage by making baseless statements against the TDP government, he added.

MP Maganti Murali Mohan said a programme was planned during April 21-27 in Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary constituency to mount pressure on Central government to get Special Category Status (SCS) to the state. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan intentionally adjourned the house everyday showing petty reasons at the behest of Central government.

The Prime Minister, Modi advised AIADMK MPs to create a ruskus at the well to prevent to table no-confidence motion during the session. The people were ready to teach a lesson to the BJP, he opined.

GUDA chairman Ganni Krishna, MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary, MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai and others were present.
