Gosports, ABC enter MoU
Vijayawada: With a view to sharing resources and competencies for water sports projects, to enhance impact and increase reach to more public and to develop their individual brands, Gosports Management and Amaravati Boating Club (ABC) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of Confederation of Indian Industry Young India (CII-YI) here on Sunday.
On behalf of Gosports, managing director CR Mohan and on behalf of ABC its CEO Tarun Kakani signed the MoU and exchanged the documents in the presence of CII-YI chairman Chukkapalli Satwik and vice-chairman Bhaskar Nannapaneni.
Addressing the gathering, Mohan said this MoU was vital for working partnerships across organisations in order to achieve scalability and visibility. He said Gosports Management is a Sports Event Management Company and has a vision of professionalising sports in this part of India. He said that it was aiming to promote sports culture in the current generation and to promote sports as a viable career option for the next generation.
ABC CEO Tarun said that ABC is a premium water sports company, with headquarters in Vijayawada of Amaravati region. He said the company was a Public Private Partnership Company with Govt of AP, Department of Tourism which works with both State and Central governments on various projects. He said that they had international and national dealerships for boating and water sports equipment and operations.
