Balantrapu Rajanikanta Rao remembered

Guntur: Poet, composer and writer Balantrapu Rajanikanta Rao was remembered at a meeting held at the ANU Journalism department on Wednesday.The students paid tributes to Rajanikanta Rao by garlanding his portrait.

Addressing the gathering, Padmavati Mahila University former registrar Vijaya Lakshmi said that the death of the latter was a great loss to Telugu literature and music and reminded his services to the All India Radio.

She urged the journalism students to draw inspiration from Rajanikantha Rao. She said that journalism students should have commitment and passion. They should have social conscience and social responsibility, she added.The ANU Journalism head of the department, Prof A Anita was also present.
