GMC offers concession on advance tax payment

Guntur: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar urged the house owners to pay the advance tax before April 30 and get five percent concession on the tax. 

JKC College management paid advance tax of Rs 7.25 lakh to the GMC officials on Thursday.Speaking on this occasion, Srikesh B Lathkar said that those who pay advance tax would get tax rebate and added that all the counters in the GMC would work on Sunday also. 

He appealed to the house owners to avail the facility and pay advance tax to the GMC and cooperate. He announced that tax payments would be accepted during lunch hours also and taxes may be paid in the Mee-Seva Centres also. He suggested the house owners to pay taxes from their residences online.
