Aryapuram coop bank to be shifted to new building
Rajamahendravaram: A century-old Aryapuram Cooperative Urban Bank is moving into its new centenary building shortly. The building was constructed in the existing place at Gokavaram Bus Station.
The bank management performed poojas in the new building on Sunday. It would be opened officially on May 12. An amount of Rs 4 crore was spent for the construction of palatial building with all necessary facilities.
The building was constructed with two stairs along with cellar to cater to the needs of the customers. Foundation also laid for two more stairs for future needs. The construction of the building was started in May 2017. Within 11 months, the construction was completed.
Cash counters, manager room and chest was arranged in the first floor and corporate office in the second floor. The bank chairman Challa Shankar Rao supervised the construction of the building along with the bank directors for its speedy completion.
