Officials told to make foolproof arrangements for CM’s visit
Ongole: District Collector V Vinay Chand on Sunday asked the district officials to make foolproof arrangements for the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu’s, visit to Kandukuru assembly constituency on May 17.
The Chief Minister will tour the constituency from 10 am till noon and inspect Neeru-pragati works in two villages of the constituency.Reviewing arrangements with officials for the CM’s visit at his camp office, he said the CM would inspect check dams, ponds, tank desiltation works, roads, Anganwadi centers and gram panchayat buildings.
Later, he is scheduled to take part in Rachchabanda programme and address a public meeting in Kandukuru in the post-lunch session of the tour. He asked officials of various government departments to make arrangements pertaining to their respective departments without any glitch.
Joint Collector S Nagalakshmi and D Markandeyulu, DRDA, DWAMA, Housing and APMIP project directors Murali, Polappa, Srinivasa Rao and Ravindra respectively, DEO Subba Rao, SSO project officer Venkateswara Rao, horticulture assistant director Jennamma and others took part in the meeting.
