YMHA pays tributes to ASN Raju

Eluru: The Young Men Hindu Association (YMHA) paid rich tributes to noted litterateur and MHA executive committee former vice-president Alluri Venkata Narasimha Raju.

Dr Alluri Venkata Narasimha Raju (ASN Raju) passed away recently at his residence in Eluru.  He was the chairman of the Indo-English School at Ayodhya Nagar in Southern Street of Eluru.

The condolence meeting held at YMHA hall here on Sunday observed two minutes silence as mark of respect to the departed soul.

The participated YMHA members remembered the ASN Raju’s service to the literary and educational field. The Trust Board president Venugopal Lunani, general secretary KV Satyanarayana, MLC Ramu Surya Rao, YMHA executive committee president Yarra Somalingeswara Rao, general secretary Paladugu Murali Shyam and others remembered that as an educationalist Dr Raju had extended outstanding service to the Telugu and Sanskrit languages.

Earlier, the participants garlanded the portrait of Dr Raju and condoled his death. They extended their sympathy to the bereaved family.
