Verify documents to issue layouts, officials told

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar directed the officials to examine the applications filed for layout permissions and find whether they have followed the norms or not.

He visited Gorantla and Pottur villages to inspect the lands for which the land owners had applied for layout permissions and directed the officials to check documents submitted for layout permissions. He inspected the underground drainage works at Pottur, Nagaralu and Gorantla along with the officials. 

Speaking on this occasion, he directed the engineering officials to take up drain works after considering remarks from the town planning officials. He also inspected road-widening works and underground drainage works at Amaravati Road. Deputy City Planner Ch Chakrapani and officials of the engineering department were present.
