Congress protests undemocratic ways of Karnataka governor

Mandapeta (East Godavari): The Congress leaders and cadre of Mandapeta Assembly constituency staged dharna at the MRO office here protesting against the undemocratic ways of Karnataka Governor in inviting the BJP to form the government.

Addressing the dharna , AICC member and PCC spokesperson Kamana Prabhakara Rao said that though the Congress and JDS has majority  of 116 members, the Governor invited minority BJP to form the  government.

The senior Congress leader sought the intervention of the President of India and restore democratic norms in Karnataka. Large number of party activists participated.
