Rathasapthami in Tirumala on Jan 24

Tirupati: As the year 2017 concluded with the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi, TTD is now gearing up for another important fete Rathasapthami, which occurs on January 24.

Also known as Surya Jayanthi, on this day, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy will be taken ride on seven vahanams on a single day and hence is also known as Mini Brahmotsavam.
