Three die, 3 injured in separate accidents

Tirupati : Three persons died in a mishap which occurred on Puttalapattu-Naidupeta highway near Ithepalli of Chittoor district on Friday evening.  The accident occurred when a car and milk van collided head on the high way.

Chandragiri police have identified the deceased persons as Ravi, Giri and Vinod of Irala mandal. They were going to Irala from Tirupati. On the way near Ithepalli, their car collided with Heritage milk transport  lorry.  

Car was completely damaged in the mishap. Police had difficult time in removing the bodies from the car.  Police registered a case and bodies were sent to Ruia hospital for post-mortem.Three pilgrims from Karnataka sustained injuries in another accident at Papavinansanam in Tirumala on Friday morning.
