Chandrababu Naidu to visit Naniyala tomorrow
Chittoor: District Collector P S Pradyumna has directed the officials to take all measures to make success of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the district on January 9th to take part in Janmabhoomi-Maavuru programme at Naniyala forest. All the heads of the departments should collectively discharge their assignments in coordination with others, he said.
The Collector has convened a meeting of the district officers at Naniyala forest in Ramakuppam Mandal of Kuppam Assembly Constituency on Sunday and reviewed the arrangements for the visit. Chief Minister is supposed to visit on January 9th to take part in Janmabhoomi programme both in Tirupati and Kuppam Assembly constituencies.
Pradyumna said that Chief Minister would lay foundation stone for Eco Tourism Project at Naniyala forest with an estimated out lay of Rs.2.0 crore. During his visit to Kuppam, Chief Minister is expected to lay foundation stones for 24 schemes. He declared that 20 stalls relating to the development of various departments should be exhibited at the Janmabhoomi venue, he said.
Pool proof arrangements should be made at the public meeting in which 25,000 people are expected to attend the meeting. Medical camp and Veterinary camps should be arranged besides making transport arrangements, he said. Joint Collector Girisha and Additional Joint Collector Chandramouli will monitor the programme while District Forest Officer Chandrapani will coordinate, he added.
Madanapalli Sub Collector Vetri Selvi, DRDA Project Director Ravi Prakash Reddy and DWMA PD Kurmanath were also present. The District Collector earlier took part at 5K Run programme held at Chittoor in which ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash and others were present.
