Janmabhoomi: All districts given Grade C on Day- 5
Amaravati: All districts in the state have been given ‘C’ grade by the government based on data being received from public in conducting Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme.
Government Advisor (Communications) Parakala Prabhakar said that all districts had been given C grade on fifth day (Saturday) of Janmabhoomi programme as 51 per cent of people expressed dissatisfaction over performance of officials in resolving their grievances. “All the districts, which were ranked B grade from 2nd day to 4th day, were declined to C grade on 5th day,” he said.
According to data, 51 per cent people said their applications were not resolved. He said 51 per cent people responded positively on development of villages while 67 per cent were okay on sanctioning ration cards to eligible people.
Parakala said number of complaints rose to 156 per cent on 2nd day compared with the first day and the number of complaints gradually decreased by 5th day. He also said around one lakh families were given ration cards and 58,2888 pensions were sanctioned in the six days of Janmabhoomi programme.
Besides, medical tests were conducted on 5.93 lakh people and 23,000 spectacles were distributed in health camps. He also said 4,353 house sites and 4,000 toolkits were distributed. He said that on the fifth day of Janmabhoomi programme, highest number of complaints were received from Krishna district.
