Two groups clash at Ibrahimpatnam church

Vijayawada: Two groups clashed at St Thomas Church in B Colony of Ibrahimpatnam under Ibrahimpatnam police station limits over the maintenance of church. 

Two women G Jhansi and M Ravi Kumari had disputes over the maintenance of the church. When the father of the church was delivering sermon on Sunday morning,  a scuffle ensued between the two groups. 

Later, the two groups lodged a complaint with Ibrahimpatnam police levelling allegations against each other. Kondapalli sector Sub-Inspector R Srinivas registered a case and took up investigation. He said financial issues related to the church was the cause of the dispute between the two groups.
