1.18 lakh new voters registered in Krishna district

Vijayawada: A total of 1,18,714 new voters enrolled their names in the voters list in the district last year. The authorities have made arrangements for the enrollment of new voters in all the mandals. Those, who have completed 18 years, can register their names in the voters list.

The total voters in the district by Wednesday are 29,02,347. Men voters are 14,39,348 and women voters are 14,62,786. Besides, 313 transgenders have enrolled their names. 

During the last one year, 57,488 men, 61,274 women and 52 others registered their names, said the district administration in a press release on Wednesday.
