Aid worth 54 lakh from Chief Minister's Relief Fund distributed

Guntur: Minister for Social Welfare NakkaAnand Babu distributed Rs.54,24,974 financial assistance from Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) to the residents of Vemur Assembly constituency at a programme held at his camp office in Guntur on Friday. 

Speaking on this occasion, the minister said, ``most of the diseases were covered under the NTR VaidaSeva scheme. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been liberally sanctioning financial assistance from CMRF to the poor patients for treatment.’’

The government was allocated Rs.7,000 crore in budget for Health, he said and  added that in spite of it, the Chief Minister was sanctioning financial assistance  from  the relief  fund.  

He reminded that Chandranna Bheema Scheme is useful to the poor and asked the eligible persons to avail the benefits of the scheme. Later,he distributed cheques released by the government.  MPSriram Malyadri and others were present.
