People appreciating officials: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu observed that the public opinion changed positively towards the officials and started appreciating their performance in Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru (JBMV) programme.

This will become a case study for rest of the country, he observed in a teleconference on 10-day progress of JBMV on Thursday. Naidu suggested the officials to document the entire data took from people and observed the officials and leaders had came to know many issues in JBMV.

He observed this JBMV was entirely different from that of previous programme and all the data available on the websites. Meanwhile in a press conference on Thursday, government advisor Parakala Prabhakar said that 60 lakh public participated in the JBMV programme across the state.

He said 1.71 lakh ration cards were distributed, provided pensions to more than one lakh people, more than 14 lakh patients got treatment at 16,000 health camps and 24,000 veterinary camps have been organised during the last ten days in the JBMV.

He said more than ten lakh grievances under community, individual, finance and non-finance related ones were resolved in the last ten days. Parakala Prabhakar explained that more than 6 lakh grievances were resolved within 10 days out of 10 lakh received. Majority of grievances were received on housing scheme, white ration cards, housing lands and pensions, he explained.
