YSRCP chief promises to solve higher education problems
Tirupati: The Praja Sankalpa Yatra by YS Jaganmohan Reddy reached 62nd day on Sunday. He began his walk at old Kandulavaripalle and proceeded through Nennuru, Settivaripalli crossroads, Kattakinda Venkatapuram, Venkatapuram crossroads, Challavaripalle, Sorakayalapalem crossroads, Madhurapalli, Puligunta, Kammapalli crossroads, Desuru Kandriga, Ravillavaripalle up to Parakalva crossroads.
The leaders of contract lecturers association, private teachers association and others met Jagan on Sunday and asked him to take up their demands. The YSRCP chief promised them that a committee would be formed to look into the entire gamut of issues related to status of higher education in the state.
He said all the problems related to the education would be solved once he comes to power after he next elections. During his yatra, he unveiled party flags at various places. He will take a break from padayatra on Monday due to Sankranti and will spend the day at his camp near Ravillavari Kandriga only. On Tuesday, Jaganmohan Reddy will enter Nagari constituency where he will address a public meeting at Vadamalapet.
