Sundara Sarma is new priest at Durga temple

Vijayawada: In-charge executive officer of Durga temple V Anuradha appointed Sundara Saram as the main priest at Durga temple. She issued orders to this effect on Monday. It may be noted that temple main priest Badirinath Babu was transferred following the allegations on tantric poojas held in the temple under his supervision.

However, he was posted at another location on the temple premises. Since then, he is on leave for the last several days. In this backdrop, the newly appointed executive officer Anuradha appointed Sundara Sarma in the place of Badirinath Babu. According to sources, some other changes are likely to take place in the temple administration.
