Closure of Tiruchanur temple on Jan 31

Tirupati: Following lunar eclipse on January 31, the doors of the famous temple of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanur will remain closed from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm on that day for about 12 hours. The temple doors will be reopened after performing Punyahavachanam, Suddhi and Ekanta Seva. Temple authorities have cancelled all arjitha sevas on January 31 and Tiruppavada Seva on February 1 owing to total lunar eclipse.
