Education, sports equally important for girl students

Kurnool: CB Harinath Reddy, Commissioner of the Kurnool Municipal Corporation, said that besides pursuing education, girl students should take part in sports too. This will help them to tackle the hurdles without any problem, he added.

He suggested them to give utmost priority to education and reach the highest pinnacle. He was saying these words after participating at National Girl Child programme organised at Chanakyapuri Colony here on Wednesday.

He said that every girl should keep themselves fit and healthy. They have to keep themselves neat and clean, and they have to create awareness among others too. “Transformation has to begin from you and within you. Then only, it is possible to change others,” said the Commissioner. Later, the civic chief has distributed education kits to 200 students.
