Muddukrishnama Naidu slams Vijaya Sai Reddy

Amaravati: The TDP MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu ridiculed YSRCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy for the latter’s statement on YSRCP MPs resignation demanding Special Category Status to AP.

The MLC has said that there would be of no use with their resignations, since they have announced that they will resign after the completion of the Budget session.

Naidu observed that the YSRCP MPs were supposed to resign at least a year ago, if they were really committed for the development of
the State.

Now, their demand will not be useful to state and it  was a political game, he observed in a press statement on Thursday, released from party’s State Office.

He blames that the YSRCP has been trying to get political mileage by making such statements. The TDP leader also referred to the YSRCP president YS Jagamohan   Reddy’s announcement that his party was willing to enter into political alliance with BJP, if the central government will give Special Category Status.

He observed that the YSRCP already extended support to BJP during President and Vice President elections and there was nothing to do with the new alliance, even if they enter.

Naidu also blamed that the YSRCP leaders had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other Union ministers and BJP leaders several times in various occasions only for removal of pending cases against Jaganmohan Reddy; but not for the sake of development of AP.

He further added that if the YSRCP MPs should submit their resignations at least before the budget session, then there might be some benefit to
the State.

That too, they have to resign at least one and half year before the general elections, then only the Election Commission would conduct the by-elections, he added.
