Kanthamneni memorial lecture today

Vijayawada: Supreme Court Judge Justice Jasti Chalameswar would deliver the Third Kanthamneni Ravindra Rao memorial lecture on ‘Constitutionalism and Civil Society’ at Siddhartha Academy Auditorium here on Sunday.

Kanthamaneni Ravindra Rao was one of the pioneers in laying the foundation for civil rights movement in Andhra Pradesh. This is the third in the row of the memorial lectures. The first memorial lecture was delivered by Supreme Court Judge Justice NV Ramana in 2016 and the second lecture was delivered by Commissioner of Right to Information Madabhushi Sridhar in 2017.

Retired district judge D Satyanarayana Reddy would preside over the meeting and Bar Council member Sunkara Rajendra Prasad, Bezwada Bar Association president Somu Krishna Murthy and principal of Siddhartha Law College Dr C Divakar Babu would be special guests.
