My comments on TDP unintentional: Vishnu Kumar
Visakhapatnam: BJP floor leader in Assembly P Vishnu Kumar Raju said that his comments on YSRCP MLAs who joined TDP and in the Cabinet, were unintentional. Addressing media here on Sunday, Vishnu Kumar Raju said he was not intentionally gone to share the dais with YSRCP leader and PAC chairman Rajendranath Reddy and it was unintentionally happened at Amaravati on January 24.
Raju denied rumours that he was leaving the BJP for and joining YSRCP. However, the BJP floor leader expressed serious concern over the leaders winning on one party ticket and shifting into another party without resigning from their elected posts.
Not only MLAs, any elected representative, who elected on a party ticket, should resign to their posts, if he wishes to join other party. It is the high time to bring amendments to check such practices followed by some leaders, Vishnu Kumar Raju said. Raju also said that he did not make any comments on Chief Minister N
Chandrababu Naidu and Pattiseema Project on January 24. Talking about separate railway zone along with Visakhapatnam as headquarters, he said that during every national executive meeting of the party, the issue was coming up for discussion. The BJP government would give railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters before the 2019 elections, Raju added.
