MLA distributes saris to poor

Tirupati: On the occasion of death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi Kendra Trust (R) organised 34th programme at Nehru Municipal High School Ground, here on Tuesday. MLA Suguna was the chief guest and former board member of TTD Bhanu Prakash Reddy was the guest of honour.

O Bhaskar Yadav, Ammudala Thulasi Ram and S Sudhakar Reddy were also present. The Trust Chairman Dr P Rayulu in his speech said that such programmes will be helpful for the poor and downtrodden people in and around Tirupati as enunciated by Mahatma Gandhi.

He also brought to the notice of the MLA to allot a piece of land to construct Gandhi Museum, library, prayer hall and 24 hours free medical facility as his long pending ambitious project.

MLA also appreciated the trust on her speech doing such programmes and she has promised that she will extend all support, the other dignitaries is also applauded programmes of the trust. The MLA has distributed the 1,000 sets of saris with blouse to the poor, who has attended the programme.
