Seminar on safeguarding eves rights 

Guntur:  Parithra Women’s Cell of GVR&S College of Engineering and Technology on Tuesday conducted a one-day seminar on ‘Women’s rights in society safeguarding them’.A reputed psychologist-cum-advocate Lakshmi graced the occasion.

She noted that women have been playing multiple roles in society because of the changed circumstances and called upon students to set a goal for themselves and strive to achieve it.

She advised students against committing suicide unable to face hurdles. Principal Dr Harikrishna Prasad, women’s cell conveners Prof Nirmala Mary and B Sunita, teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present.
