Councillor held 

Parvathipuram: A municipal councillor of Parvathipuram municipality was arrested. D Srinivasa Rao and his aides installed flexies recently. As a part of clean-up drive, civic staff was removing the boards when the supporters of Srinivasa Rao obstructed them.

This led to a jostle between the staff and the politicians. Later, the staff lodged a complaint with police. Based on the compliant, police arrested Srinivasa Rao and four others.
